Wolfenstein parody with anime girls

Dollfenstein 3D E1M1 demo is an action game that infuses the retro first-person shooter with lots of anime and pop culture references. Built using the easy FPS editor, it uses an overall set design similar to Wolfenstein 3D, with character sprites based on characters from the mobile gacha game Girls Frontline.

Dollfenstein 3D E1M1 demo is best treated as a casual game that combines two other properties to create a short yet fun experience. If you’re a retro Wolfenstein enjoyer or a fan of anime girls and gacha games, this one is definitely worth checking out.

Conquer Castle Wolfenstein with T-Dolls

As mentioned, Dollfenstein 3D E1M1 demo combines the two properties. On one hand, you see the instantly recognizable walls, doors, and hallways of the 1992 FPS classic. While the textures are improved and the colors more vivid, it’s unmistakably Castle Wolfenstein. On the other hand, using a weapon corresponds to a T-Doll ally while enemies are based on the Sangvis Ferri agents—characters from Girls Frontline.

The modernized retro visuals are accompanied by smooth animation frames and intuitive controls, making the game really easy to learn. The game also offers great fanservice by showing the Frontline characters. First, you see their female counterparts instead of the guns themselves when you pick them up. Second, their image appears whenever they’re used—a commando knife, a Luger P08 handgun, and an MP40 submachine gun among them.

Now that it has created such a premise, players will definitely be asking for more. First of all, it doesn’t convert the entire Wolfenstein 3D game into the mod, offering only a small section for the players. Second, it has a limited number of enemies and weapons. There are only four Sangvis Ferri enemies available, and about three T-Dolls available: one melee, secondary sidearm, and rifle.

A short, yet enjoyable experience

Overall, Dollfenstein 3D E1M1 demo is going down as one of the more enjoyable Wolfenstein parodies—a longstanding part of internet culture. By replacing the usual enemies with half-mechanical agents and letting you use weapons juxtaposed with android soldiers, it introduces both franchises to wider audiences. While it remains limited in terms of content available, it’s still an enjoyable game. Short yet highly recommended.
